THE CHURCH

A core value of Perspectives is that programs reflect and serve the wide diversity of the Body of Christ. Program leadership and instruction often draw from national Christian leaders in the church, mission, and educational spheres.

Church and denominational leaders regularly encourage their members to take a Perspectives class to awaken and inform believers regarding their privilege and responsibility in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Mission agencies and national mission networks frequently encourage mission recruits to enroll in a Perspectives class as a baseline in their missionary preparation.

Christian educational institutions sometimes partner with national Perspectives on the World Christian Movement® study programs to grant university or seminary credit to their students.

THE YET-TO-BE CHURCH

In the story of mankind that God is writing, He gives us a sneak peek at the end of the story. The apostle John in a revelatory vision saw the completion of God’s ancient and eternal purpose.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” Revelation 7:9-10 (NASB)

If Jesus were to return today, some tribes, tongues and nations would be missing from the great multitude before the throne. They have not yet had the message of salvation published in their midst in a way they can understand. These are the unreached people groups.

These are also the peoples that Perspectives Global serves, by raising awareness among the reached to extend the message of salvation to the unreached.

THE IMPACT OF PERSPECTIVES

Christian leaders in Argentina report that Perspectives is bringing revival to the Church.

In Nigeria, Anglican bishops are asking all the priests in their diocese to take Perspectives. Pastoral leaders over networks of churches are doing likewise. One pastor asked all the pastors in his network to enroll in Perspectives. Afterwards, he sent about half of them north to plant churches in Muslim North Africa.

In Brazil, mission agencies are asking Perspectives to slow down in mobilizing missionary candidates; the pipeline of young people ready to go is greater than the sending capacity.

Perspectives Korea has influenced the strategies of mission agencies and the sermons of pastors. Along with Mission Korea, it is the primary mission mobilization force in the nation.

Chinese courses around the world are stirring up new mission sending to hard places and unreached people groups.

The first indigenous mission sending agency in Rwanda was pioneered by Perspectives alumni.
